Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
McGettigans Hotel is frequently praised for its convenient central location, placing guests within easy reach of pubs and other Letterkenny attractions. The spacious rooms are also a highlight for many, and some guests have raved about the Warehouse restaurant and its offerings, including live music on Thursday nights. A few guests have, however, mentioned challenges with navigating from the rear car park. On the other hand, free on-site parking adds to the hotel's appeal for those arriving by car.

Fantastic Stay

great location convenient parking comfortable beds friendly staff
I found the hotel to be in a great location. The provided parking was very convenient. My room was clean, it also featured comfortable beds. The check-in staff were friendly and helpful.
I found the car park to be a bit small and it was hard to find a place.
Dining

The breakfast had a great selection of items available. I especially appreciated the fresh fruit and pastries. The on-site restaurant seemed popular, though I did not have a chance to dine there myself. The floor manager was friendly.

the room was spacious and had tea and coffee facilities.
the air conditioning did not seem to work, so the room reminded me of a furnace (i was quite uncomfortable). the sink tap also needs fixing as it exploded when i turned it on.

decent stay

good breakfast convenient location pleasant staff central location rear carpark challenging navigation missing bath robes smart tv
the breakfast was good and it was in a convenient location. i found the staff pleasant. i appreciated the central location close to pubs.
Navigating from the rear carpark to reception was challenging. You must take the lift to floor 1, then walk across various corridors to access the 2nd lift to floor 0. my room lacked bath robes. there were no smart tv options available.
